Our Origin

Placepaints was founded by Charlie Case and Conor Sumner, two creatives with a shared passion for design and craftsmanship. Charlie, a Creative Director with over a decade of experience in branding and digital experiences, has always been inspired by the emotional power of design to transform spaces. Conor, a seasoned expert in manufacturing and the paint industry, brought his deep knowledge of materials, processes, and innovation to the table. Together, they saw an opportunity to create something truly unique—a premium paint brand that does more than beautify spaces.

The idea for Placepaints sparked from a conversation about the power of travel and how certain places evoke emotions that stay with us forever. They envisioned a paint brand that could connect people to those cherished destinations, capturing the essence of iconic places in carefully crafted colours. By blending Charlie’s design expertise and Conor’s manufacturing background, Placepaints was born—a brand rooted in storytelling, innovation, and quality.
